Welcome to the Hershey Lodge Water Park – officially known as Hershey’s Water Works at Hershey Lodge – where families can dive into a world of excitement, relaxation, and Hershey-themed adventure all under one roof.
This 30,000 square foot water park complex is located inside the Hershey Lodge Hotel and is so much fun for families. It is a great addition to your Hersheypark trip.
Hershey Lodge Water Park is an indoor water park that is available to guests. It is not open to off-site day guests, this helps keep the crowds down and is a great perk for guests staying at the lodge.
Guests can also use the outdoor pool that is open during the summer months.
Hershey Lodge Water Park
It has attractions like Twizzlers Twists water slides, Reese’s Water Walk, and a smaller splash area for toddlers and young children. It is best for kids 10 and under.
Hershey Lodge Water Park is the perfect size for families. Parents can relax and see their kids in most areas of the park. This is perfect for school age kids. It is always nice to find a place for the kids to unwind and play, that is also great for adults.
I felt good knowing I could see all three of the kids and not have to follow them through the areas. It is just the right size!
What to Do at Hershey’s Water Works
Twizzler Twists
This dual water slide is for the thrill seekers. Guests travel down a fully enclosed water slide that goes outside the building is this fun racer slide. Guests must be 42″ tall to ride.
Reese’s Water Walk & Splash Pads
Kids can test their balance and walk across Reese’s Water Walk, splash around in the splash area, and ride the kiddie slides. There are a lot of splash buckets and fountains, this is a great area for small children.
Cocoa Cabana
Guests looking for a snack don’t have to leave the water park with Cocoa Cabana. Offering starters, salads, ice cream and specialty beverages.
Things to Know for Your Visit to Hershey Water Park
- Must be an overnight guest of Hersheypark to visit
- You can use water park day of check-in, even if room is not ready.
- On check-out day guest may use water park until 3:00pm.
- Life vests are available at the water park.
- Towels are provided but may not be removed from the water park.
- There is an arcade near the water park that guests can enjoy.
The small size of this water park makes it a great spot for kids to run around as the parents relax a bit in a chair. I really liked that I could see my kids at all times and stay in one spot.
Hershey Lodge Water Park is a great addition to your stay at the Hershey Lodge Hotel and even makes a great weekend getaway when Hersheypark is closed.
