HalloweenFest at Lincoln Hill Farms in Canandaigua NY is a family friendly event held throughout the month of October. We visited over the weekend and had a great time enjoying this special event.
A fall visit to Rochester, NY is something everyone should have high on their bucket list. The leaves are changing colors, and the events and activities in and around Rochester make it a great time of year to plan a visit.
We enjoy finding new seasonal activities to do as a family in October because we travel is slower with school and fall is an incredible time to be home and enjoy everything New York has to offer.
HalloweenFest at Lincoln Hill Farms is a family friendly spot to take the family for some Halloween inspired family time.
HalloweenFest at Lincoln Hill Farms
HalloweenFest is a family friendly walk-through that features jack-o-lanterns, Halloween decor, and many photo-ops for families. Guests can walk through as many times as they would like during the event. The walk-through trail is not confirmed for 2026.
The farm also hosts live music on the weekends, kids activities, and food and beverage for purchase. It is a great place to plan for Halloween family fun night out.
When visiting you can enjoy your dinner while enjoying the live music.
Visitors can also ride the mechanical spider (or bull) sit along the lake enjoying a beverage, I recommend the hot cider, or explore the Halloween trail and hops yard.

HalloweenFest Trail at Lincoln Hill Farms
The HalloweenFest trail was really fun and we walked through it twice to see any details we may have missed. The pumpkin carvings are unlike anything I have ever seen.
Some of our favorites were the Headless Horseman, Ghostbusters, and the Pirate scene. I thought it was really cool and the time and talent put into creating these really showed.
I really loved this and am sad that it might not be here for the 2026 season. As we get closer I will update to see if it returns.

The trail plays some spooky music but it is family friendly. We didn’t come across any jump scares and I appreciated it! Our family is not big on Halloween scares and I liked that we could enjoy the season without the super scary elements.

Should You Plan a Visit to Lincoln Hill Farms this October
We really enjoyed our visit to Lincoln Hill Farms. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was delicious, and the HalloweenFest trail was really well done. It is definitely something we will include in our fall activities.
I do recommend visiting because the atmosphere is so unique. Families could spend a few hours walking around, visiting with the goats, exploring the trails, and enjoying the live music with a cup of cider.
We have visited a lot of farms throughout the years in Rochester, and I think Lincoln Hill Farms really hits the mark for family friendly Halloween for older kids. My kids, ages 9-13, enjoyed the photo-ops and taking in all that the farm had to offer.
Younger kids will enjoy it as well but my kids fell in the sweet spot for spending a night there as a family.
A visit to Lincoln Hill Farms for HalloweenFest is a great addition to your family activities this fall season in and around Rochester.
