Sebastian’s Bistro offers tropical vibes and delicious Caribbean inspired dishes that make you feel like you are at a Caribbean island, not a theme park. This table service restaurant at Disney’s Caribbean Beach resort is one of the best when it comes to food and value. Today I am sharing our experience and Sebastian’s Bistro review to help you decide if you should include it in your trip to Disney World.

There are so many reviews out there about the best places to eat at Disney World and as I read through Sebastian’s Bistro I realized it was very mixed. Some people loved it and some didn’t.

I decided it was best to try it myself and I am so happy I did. We booked a dinner for my family of 5 on a rest day during our Disney World vacation and it was incredible. From the food to the chill vibes Sebastian’s Bistro delivers. Let’s get into the review to see if it is a good choice for your trip.

Sebastian’s Bistro Review- Our Experience

We made reservations for Sebastian’s Bistro 60 days out from our arrival day. We were staying at the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel which is a short gondola ride away from Caribbean Beach Resort where Sebastian’s Bistro is located.

I suggest about 45 minutes for travel time just in case you have lines boarding the Skyliner at Epcot or any other unforeseen delays. It took us about 30 minutes to get to the restaurant. I checked us in on the app and then explored a little bit of the resort while we waited for our notification that our table was ready.

I really love the beach vibe of the resort and the restaurant. The family style dining is perfect for Disney World with teens because you get unlimited servings of whatever your family likes. Everyone in the family can try different dishes and pick their favorites to get more of.

From start to finish our dining experience was excellent. The cast members were always around when we needed a refill and the ambiance of the restaurant was a relaxing break during our trip.

Atmosphere

As I mentioned earlier the island vibe of the resort leads into Sebastian’s Bistro’s vibe. Guests dine overlooking the water and the restaurant has a laid back vibe. Many of the cast members are originally from the Caribbean and this makes for an even more authentic experience.

Location

Sebastian’s Bistro is located at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. This is one of the four Disney Skyliner Resorts. There are a few different ways to get to the restaurant if you are not staying at Caribbean Beach.

If you are a Disney Skyliner guest take the Skyliner to Caribbean Beach. Guests visiting Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios can also take the Skyliner from the park to Caribbean Beach. If you are staying at an Epcot hotel you can also take the Skyliner.

Guests staying at another resort will have to use a rideshare or take the bus from their resort to a theme park and then a bus to Caribbean Beach Resort. We did this when dining at Boma. We took a bus to Animal Kingdom and then a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is not a difficult as it may sound, just choose a theme park close to the restaurant.

Pricing

Sebastian’s Bistro is served family style with a fixed cost. Adults are $39.00 and Children (3-9) are $21.00. Add-ons like specialty drinks or enhancement dishes are offered but the main course is unlimited servings at your table. Reservations are recommended and can be made 60 days in advance.

You do not need a Disney park ticket to dine at Sebastian’s Bistro. Anyone can make reservations.

Food

Food is served family style with everything being brought to your table. Once the waiter takes your drink order you will start with salad and rolls. There is plenty to share and if you need more you can ask. The guava butter is a totally unique take and it really good!

The main dish is the “Taste of the Caribbean” and it includes: Oven-roasted Chicken with Mango Sambal, Slow-roasted Pork with Tangy Pikliz Slaw,  Chili-rubbed Beef with Chimichurri, and Baked Fish with Chorizo-Tomato Salsa and Spiced Butter. Sides include: Cilantro Rice and Beans, Fried Garlic Yuca, Ginger-glazed Sweet Plantains, and Fire-roasted Peppers.

This is all included in your dining price. I love that we got to try new things that we may have never ordered like Yuca and Plantains.

Dessert is coconut-pineapple bread pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. This was so good! I wish I was less full from dinner so I could have eaten more of it.

Review of Sebastian’s Bistro- Should You Go

Should you go to Sebastian’s Bistro? If you have a rest day planned during your trip or you are staying at a nearby resort I say yes. It is a fantastic restaurant. The cost of Sebastian’s is on the lower end for table service dining and offers a great value for a sit down meal.

The only time I would not suggest going is during a park day. If you want to maximize your time at the parks I wouldn’t do dining at a resort. I would suggest dining inside the parks if you want a table service meal in your day. Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Hollywood Studios is a great choice.

Overall Sebastian’s Bistro is a top pick for table service at a resort. It has great food at a great price. Definitely worth considering for your Disney World trip.
