Rochester has the Strong Museum of Play, Dinosaur BBQ and garbage plates. Now we have The Waffle Factory. Located outside of Rochester, NY in Webster, The Waffle Factory offers all types of waffle creations imaginable. It was a HUGE hit with my family!!
I have been following the Waffle Factory on social media for months waiting for them to open. Finally they opened their doors to the public and we made our first visit. I am a firm believer in taking my kids out to eat and experiencing different dining options. To be honest I wasn’t sure if this was family friendly or more for adults. We were pleasantly surprised.
The Waffle Factory is small and cozy but had room for my family of five to sit at a table. They have parking behind the building. We were greeted by staff that was kind and patient as we read through all the options. They also offer coffee beverages. We all had water from the pitcher on the front counter.
The biggest challenge was deciding what to order. They have 34 waffles on the menu!! 34!!! Making a choice was near impossible and the only way we did was to promise we would return to try more.
We ended up with 4 different waffles and planned on sharing them. It was after lunch and our plan was an afternoon snack. We picked the Original(1), Apple Pie(12),Chocolate Chip(14), and Belgian Bacon Banana(29).
Oh my!!! They were all delicious!! I am not really a waffle person because they are usually too hard or too doughy but not here. It was waffle perfection!! My favorite was the Apple Crisp! My family could not agree on one favorite…we liked them all! Everything was so delicious. On the drive home my daughter started ranking the waffles in order or her favorite. She also started to write a story for school about her visit. We will be back very soon!
