Guide to Universal’s Epic Universe
There will be 5 distinct lands at Epic Universe. They will include:
- Celestial Park
- How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic
- Super Nintendo World
- Dark Universe
Each land will have a portal to enter. Guests will enter that park at Celestial Park and discover portals to take them to the different worlds.
Let’s get into details about what we know so far…
Celestial Park
Guests can ride the Stardust Racers roller coaster, dine at the Undersea Adventure or Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant, and take a ride on the Constellation Carousel.
Celestial Park will be the “hub” to the other lands to discover but it will also be part of the story. Here you will step away from your everyday life to a world between worlds.
This looks like it will be a park like setting with a constellation theme. I love that it will transport guests to new realms. This area will be a fun place to start your day at the park. Read my detailed guide to Celestial Park.
How to Train Your Dragon- Isle of Berk
Guests will enter a world of Vikings and Dragons in this colorful village that is great for families of all ages. With themed dining, shops, and attractions this is the largest world at Epic Universe.
The concept art looks amazing for this area! I am most excited for Hiccup’s Wing Gliders family coaster. I think it will be a fun ride at the park.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic
This is the third Wizarding World of Harry Potter land at Universal Orlando. This land will immerse guests in Ministry of Magic World from Paris to the British Ministry.
I can’t wait to learn more about the attractions coming to the Ministry of Magic. The Harry Potter areas at the other parks are so immersive, I expect this to top what we already have.

Super Nintendo World
Super Nintendo World will have guests racing in Mario Kart and adventuring in Donkey Kong Country. I have been following along on the development of the Donkey Kong roller coaster that has guests feel as if they are “jumping the track”.
This technology looks amazing and I can’t wait to learn more. It is going to be a very popular area at the park.

Dark Universe
Dark Universe feels like a land theme park fans have been waiting years for. This will transport guests to the world of Frankenstein and monsters.
Dark Universe will tow the line of scary and family-friendly. It will have 2 attractions, one that is family-friendly (Curse of the Werewolf) and one that is more thrilling (Monsters Unchained).

Universal Stella Nova Resort is themed to the galaxies and will open January 21, 2025. It will have a pool, interactive splash pad, and dining options. This may also have a walking trail to Epic Universe but I am not 100 percent sure yet. I will update as soon as I know.
Universal Terra Luna Resort will also follow the celestial theme and be “your landing pad for relaxation”. This will open February 25, 2025.
