Are you looking for the best places to eat breakfast at Epcot during your day at the Disney theme park? Epcot has great options for where to eat breakfast during your visit to the Walt Disney World resort.
There is something special about starting your day at Disney World with Mickey Waffles, and if you are visiting Epcot you will find great breakfasts that everyone will love.
Epcot is a great park to visit and we find ourselves discovering more things we really like about it. When planning your breakfast at Epcot you have quick service restaurants and table service restaurant options.
This is great because you can choose to start with a sit down meal or grab and go something.
If we are planning a sit-down breakfast we like to make reservations later in the morning to maximize short wait times for the most popular rides early in the day.
Whether you are visiting with adults or planning a day at Epcot with Kids you want to start your day with a great breakfast.

Where to Eat Breakfast at Epcot
My all time favorite place to eat breakfast at Epcot is Les Halles. It has the best breakfast!
It is in the French pavilion and it is a delicious café. It’s perfect for a quick bite before you start your day at Epcot.
If you are looking for the Disney princess breakfast at Epcot you want to make a reservation prior to arrival at Akershus Royal Table. This is where you will have a family style breakfast as princes characters visit your table.
Most of the breakfast options currently available at Epcot are quick service. This means you order at a counter and there are no reservations needed.
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe
- Location: Norway Pavilion
- Price: $14.99 and under
- No Reservation Needed
Kringla offers Norwegian specialty baked goods and pastries. It does not have a huge menu but is a good option if you are looking for a cup of coffee and a pastry to start your day.
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie
- Location: France Pavilion
- Price: $14.99 and under
- No Reservation Needed
Les Halles is one of my favorite places to eat in Epcot. The smell of the bakery as you enter the France pavilion is enough to entice you to try a little.
We would have visited Les Halles every morning of our Disney vacation if we could have. It’s not often we find a place that all five of us really enjoy but Les Halles really impressed us.
It is not only us that love it, on our visit we waited for the French Pavilion to open with a lot of other guests visiting to eat at this French bakery at Epcot.
We started our day with a baguette, pastry hearts, Pain au Chocolat, and the bacon and cheese bread roll (Roule Lard et Fromage). There are also Beignets and many more goodies.
Places to Eat Around Epcot
BoardWalk Bakery
- Location: Disney’s BoardWalk, Outside Epcot: Very short walk from Skyliner
- Price: $14.99 and under
- No Reservation Needed
The BoardWalk Bakery has baked goods, coffee, and egg quiche options for guests looking for breakfast before their day at Epcot. It is a short walk from the Skyliner to breakfast and back to the Epcot entrance.
Character Breakfast at Epcot
There are two great places at Epcot for character breakfast. That is the princess breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall or Garden Grill with Chip ‘n’ Dale.
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
- Location: Norway Pavilion
- Price: $35.00- $59.99
- Reservations Required, Check the website for availability.
Aershus Royal Banquet Hall is located in the Norway pavilion and guests can enjoy dining at this princess breakfast at Epcot. The dining area is set in a medieval castle and you will have the opportunity to dine while princesses stop for autographs and photos.
Princess characters can change but guests should expect to meet Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora, and Ariel. Breakfast is served family-style and includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potato casserole, cinnamon rolls, and fresh fruit.
Garden Grill
- Location: The Land in World Nature at Epcot
- Price: $35.00 to $59.99
- Reservations Required
Chip ‘n’ Dale Harvest Feast includes family style dining with Cinnamon Breakfast Loaf, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Mickey Waffles, fruit, and cheesy potato casserole.
Characters will visit your table as you dine. Although character appearances can change we often see Chip, Dale, Mickey, and Pluto.
Garden Grill will start welcoming guests for breakfast beginning June 14, 2023. Reservations can be made on the My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website.
Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno
- Location: Disney’s Boardwalk
- Price: $35.00- $59.99
- Reservations Required, Check the website for availability.
I’ve included Bon Voyage on the list because it is walking distance to Epcot. Located just outside the park at Disney’s Boardwalk guests can have breakfast with Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Ariel, and Prince Eric.
Characters are always subject to change. Currently Bon Voyage Breakfast with character appearances is unavailable, but guests can book the breakfast.
Breakfast includes a menu choice of omelet, pancakes, breakfast calzone, and fruit and pastries. This is a table service option if you are looking for a sit down meal to start your day.
Cape May Café
- Location: Disney’s Beach Club Resort, walking distance to Epcot
- Price: $35.00-$59.99
- Reservations Required.
Cape May Café is a buffet dining experience. For breakfast guests will join Minnie Mouse at Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast.
If you want to do a character experience but do not want to miss out on park time consider making reservations at one of the resorts on a non-park Disney day.
Guests staying at a Disney Skyliner resort can hop on the Skyliner to get to the mentioned character dining.
If you are staying at another resort you should ask the concierge the best route.
Tips for Getting Around Epcot for Breakfast
It helps to know how to get around Epcot when visiting for breakfast. You don’t want to waste time walking around and getting lost.
There are two entrances to the park. The main entrance and the International Gateway entrance.
The International Gateway Entrance is the Skyliner Entrance and is located near the World Showcase between France and the United Kingdom. Guests staying on the Skyliner Resorts like the Riviera Resort or Art of Animation, will enter Epcot here.
When we arrived for our breakfast at Les Halles we rode the Skyliner and lined up for rope drop (when the park opens) at the France Pavilion.
If you were going to Kringla Bakeri, especially if you want to ride Frozen Ever After first, you should walk around to the Norway entrance near Mexico.
If you are not sure where to go you can always ask cast members who will be happy to assist.
At Epcot there are breakfast options that will work for everyone and we think they are a great addition to your day at the park.
